FLOW Virginia was founded February 2024 by Shareka Eldridge after recognizing the need for a service to support youth and young adults. Throughout her work as a mental health counselor, she began to encounter more and more individuals who were presenting with distress from life transitions related to career and education versus a clinical disorder. FLOW Virginia was created to assist with improving independence for our youth and young adults of today in order to reduce stress on the micro (individual) and macro (systemic) levels.
FLOW Virginia aims to assist marginalized youth and young adults successfully acquire skills throughout life transitions with an emphasis on improving quality of life.
