Shareka is a licensed mental health counselor and the founder and CEO of LegaCEE Counseling & Consulting Services, a SWaM-certified agency dedicated to elevating awareness of mental health needs within underrepresented communities. She also serves as an educator in Virginia Commonwealth University’s Bachelor of Health Science program and provides mentorship and clinical supervision to emerging professionals in the field.

Her commitment to community engagement and professional growth is reflected in her service as a board member for the National Association of Black Counselors and the Richmond Area Counselors Association, a regional branch of the Virginia Counselors Association. In her spare time, Shareka enjoys traveling and immersing herself in diverse cultures.

 Fay is the founder and president of ImPACTvirginia, an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit in Richmond, Virginia, dedicated to raising awareness about human trafficking in the United States.  Since 2018, ImPACTvirginia has been partnered with the VCU School of Medicine to educate medical students on the issue, provide them with opportunities to teach vulnerable populations who are most at-risk for being trafficked, and inspire them to engage in research to add to the growing body of knowledge on human trafficking. Fay is married, has two beautiful grown children, enjoys meditation, quiet nature walks, and travel with family and friends.
