A 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization that promotes independence throughout life transitions for youth and young adults.
FLOW Virginia was founded in February 2024 by Shareka Eldridge. Through her work, she recognized that many individuals seeking treatment for clinical concerns were actually experiencing distress rooted in a lack of preparation and skills for major life transitions. FLOW Virginia was created to address this unmet need by providing structured, skill‑building programs—such as Life Fundamentals, Youth Ambassador, Safety Works, and Peer Support—that equip youth and young adults with the tools, confidence, and support necessary to thrive.
FLOW Virginia aims to assist marginalized youth and young adults in successfully acquiring the skills needed to navigate life transitions and improve their overall quality of life.
FLOW Virginia envisions a community where marginalized youth and young adults confidently navigate their path to independence with access to meaningful support, leadership opportunities, and safety education.
